The big financial overhaul bill just got a lot bigger. Originally weighing in at 1,500 pages, the bill now totals close to 2,000 pages thanks in large part to a decision by Democrats to add “Section 14” — tougher rules on home loans. Section 14 is essentially a bill the House passed in May 2009 that would create new restrictions on mortgage lending.
