First American, CoreLogic exec tapped as LOGS CEO

Industry veteran Scott Brinkley has been tapped as CEO of Illinois-based LOGS Network, a legal and outsourcing solutions provider for the residential mortgage industry. In his new role, he will oversee the company's future growth and expansion, the company said in a statement.

“Scott is an accomplished leader, with a track record of success," said LOGS chairman and founder Gerald Shapiro. "He brings a great mix of leadership, inspiration, operational and fiscal management, technical breadth and passion for customer care. We are lucky to find someone who has such a strong set of skills and experience to guide our organization into the future."

Before joining LOGS, Brinkley held executive positions for two decades with First American Financial (FAF) and CoreLogic (CLGX) where he served over time as Segment EVP of Business Information Services and Divisional SVP of Outsourcing and Technology Solutions. Prior to that he was co-founder of the nation’s largest claims processing business where he was a valuable partner of LOGS in its business process outsourcing ventures.

Most recently, Brinkley was the CEO for Pierce and Associates, a specialized foreclosure law firm in Illinois. Brinkley will be working from LOGS headquarters in Bannockburn, Illinois, the company said.

“The LOGS Network has been a valued business partner to the mortgage industry for over three decades," said Brinkley. "Being the largest integrated network of legal service providers in our industry, we are well positioned to meet  our clients' needs across the default continuum."
