Denver home prices rise 11.1% in July

Denver maintains its trek toward recovery, posting the 18th consecutive month of year-over-year home price growth. The Denver Business Journal elaborates:

The index (HPI) for the Denver-Aurora-Broomfield area rose 11.1% in July, compared to prices in July 2012, the report states. It includes distressed, or REO, property sales. Month over month, the local index grew 1.5% in July compared to June this year

Statewide, Colorado home sale prices increased 9.6% year-over-year with distressed properties and 8.7% without them, the report shows.
