Nine Florida cities face a foreclosure epidemic

Nine of the top 10 cities with the highest foreclosure rates in the nation are located in Florida, with Jacksonville taking the lead spot, the Jacksonville Business Journal reports. The paper has more:

That's the third month in a row, the Jacksonville News & Daily Record say, that the state has topped the list.

RealtyTrac reports that one out of every 230 housing units in the Jacksonville metropolitan area was in foreclosure in July, the highest of any metro area with more than 200,000 people.
