Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke played the role of peacemaker at the Fed and worked to find common ground, The Wall Street Journal reports. But insert a new leadership style and what does that mean for the Fed's future? The WSJ shared some of the market's concerns:

The Fed makes public commitments about what it will do about interest rates in the future, hoping that guidance will influence economic decisions by investors, businesses and individuals. These commitments may appear unreliable if they appear to lack broad support inside the Fed.
