LendingTree: Pool of mortgage borrowers receiving interest rates under 5% is shrinking

According to LendingTree’s Mortgage Rate Competition Index, borrowers with interest rates under 5% slid to 84.2% for the week ending Feb. 17, 2019. According to LendingTree, the distribution of interest rates has widened as rates increased.
