Zumper: Rental prices in the nation’s top housing markets decline in September

In September, the rental prices for a one-bedroom and two-bedroom unit increased by 0.1% and 0.5%, according to Zumper’s National Rent Report. It now costs the average renter a median of $1,250 and $1,493 to rent the average one-bedroom and two-bedroom units, equating to an annual increase of 2.4% and 2.2%, respectively.
