2017 Women of Influence: Laura Bowles 

During the last 12 months, Laura Bowles has overseen a 100,000 square-foot expansion in Norfolk, including tax incentive negotiations with the state of Virginia, and the growth of the company by 1,000 employees. In addition, she led a loan volume increase from $7.8 billion in 2015 to $12 billion in 2016, and the launch of a new loan-pricing platform and policies, all while setting new records for revenue and profit over the last year.
