Existing Single-Family Home Sales Rise 2.4% 

Existing-home sales rose again in the third consecutive month as unsold inventory eased in June, according to a monthly survey by the National Association of Realtors (NAR). Sales transactions on all single-family homes, townhomes, condos and co-ops ticked up 3.6% in June to a seasonally-adjusted annual rate of 4.89m units, from the downwardly revised pace of 4.72m units in May. The rate is slightly below the year-ago level.
