Glenn Sanford is the chairman and CEO of eXp World Holdings and eXp Realty, one of the fastest-growing residential real estate brokerage firms in the country. Sanford founded the company in 2009, and it is headquartered in Bellingham, Washington.

Sanford set eXp Realty apart from competitors by giving its real estate agents opportunities to earn company stock based on their production and contributions to the company’s growth. As part of the revenue sharing program, agents who bring other agents to eXp Realty receive 3.5% of that agent’s gross commission until he or she reaches their annual commission cap of $16,000.

eXp Realty now employs more than 70,000 agents around the globe – a 69% increase from a year ago. In 2021, eXp Realty expanded into nine new international locations: Brazil, Colombia, Germany, Hong Kong, Israel, Italy, Panama, Puerto Rico and Spain.

In July 2021, eXp World Holdings formed a joint venture with Kind Lending to establish SUCCESS Lending, which enlists expert mortgage loan officers to provide lending solutions to consumers.

Prior to founding eXp Realty, Sanford was a Keller Williams team leader. He led multiple teams across the country. When the downturn hit, he decided to go a new route, creating eXp Realty to serve as the “Amazon” of real estate brokerages. He took the company public in 2018.
