Apps increase; ARM share continues to fall
Jan 10, 2007Mortgage applications increased 16.6 percent during the first week of January, according to a weekly mortgage applications survey conducted by the Mortgage Bankers Association. The Market Composite Index, a measure of mortgage loan application volume, was 671.1, up from 575.6 one week earlier. On an unadjusted basis, the index increased 33.2 percent compared with the previous week and was up 12 percent compared with the same week one year earlier, according to the association.
