Habitat for Humanity
Field ServicesHabitat for Humanity is a U.S. non-governmental, and nonprofit organization with religious affiliation. It uses volunteer labor to construct homes, and makes no profit from the sales. In some locations outside the United States, Habitat for Humanity charges interest to protect against inflation, and is funded by national governments, philanthropic foundations, corporations and media companies.
Founded in 1976, Habitat for Humanity is based in Americus, Georgia.
