Dustin Owen has been in the mortgage banking industry since 2004 when he started his career as a Rookie LO. He currently co-operates and runs a $1 billion retail production operation which he founded with his two business partners in 2008. Dustin is the creator and host of The Loan Officer Podcast, the #1 podcast for mortgage and real estate professionals along with their clients. Owen is a Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) which is his industry’s top designation held by only 1,000 active mortgage professionals. He is a 2022 graduate from the MBA’s Future Leaders Program. In addition to running a mortgage operation and a national podcast, Dustin is a co-owner in a real estate investment company and takes an active role in an angel investment group which specializes in seed-funding tech start-up companies. In his free time, Dustin enjoys training for and competing in triathlons. He is a University of Central Florida alum and die-hard UCF football fan. Dustin and his family reside in Winter Springs, FL.
