Sulaiman hired as Equator CTO

Equator has appointed Seever Sulaiman as chief technology officer. He will work alongside the company’s chief information officer to manage strategic planning, development and oversight of all the Los Angeles-based devault servicing technology company’s technology products, solutions and information system.

“Mr. Sulaiman is a proven technology leader who will have a major impact on Equator’s future,” Equator CEO Chris Saitta said. “This is an important hire for Equator, particularly as we continue to build our next generation of technology and increase scale to enable the growth of our clients and exceed their needs.”

Sulaiman has more than 15 years of experience in the financial services industry, and frequently speaks at mortgage industry events. He most recently served as CTO of Applied Analytics, a prominent division of Lender Processing Services. He has also served as CTO of Interthinx, and has built and managed mortgage risk detection and compliance products for Interthinx and its predecessor company, AppIntelligence.

“The default segment’s changing regulations, new programs and a volatile climate are putting a strain on servicers and creating challenges that call for new technologies,” said Sulaiman. “Equator is the type of company that not only understands the market’s opportunities, but also values innovation. I am looking forward to working with a team that shares my goals and vision for bringing solutions to the industry.”
