Reverse mortgage origination technology developer ReverseVision has announced the appointment of a new vice president of operations. Sunny Mahdii will work with ReverseVision’s professional services, training, implementation, document management and customer success teams to oversee and implement the company’s operations strategy.
Prior to her position at ReverseVision, Mahdii served as director of operations and business development at American Reverse Group, where she directed the operations of that company’s lending team, along with oversight of budgeting and marketing.
Mahdii also previously served as a branch manager at Security 1 Lending, where she was responsible for that company’s two most profitable branch locations in San Diego and Tustin, Calif. Mahdii also launched a reverse mortgage division in a previous position at Omni Home Financing.
“We’ve brought on Sunny to help us bridge the current forward-reverse technology gap that stymies loan officers from offering senior lending products to the very borrower population those products are designed to serve,” said John Button, CEO of ReverseVision in a press release announcing the appointment. “We are thrilled to bring on a dedicated staff resource to help our clients uplift senior lending products into operational and technological coexistence with forward loans.”
Mahdii expressed excitement at the proposition presented by her new position.
“ReverseVision is a leader in digital mortgage technology and [I’m] excited to help them equip mortgage lenders with strategies and tools that yield successful business outcomes in today’s competitive marketplace,” she said in the press release.
This expansion of ReverseVision’s ranks also complements other recent moves the company has made, including assisting the launch of reverse mortgage divisions at other companies, along with a new partnership with a mortgage-specific marketing platform designed to expand the reach of reverse mortgages.
