RealPage has acquired Rexera, a company specializing in artificial intelligence-powered automation for real estate transactions.
The acquisition brings together Rexera’s agentic AI technology with RealPage’s HomeWiseDocs platform, creating what the company says will be the first nationwide system for automating key aspects of real estate transactions — specifically HOA document retrieval, lien searches, mortgage payoffs and compliance processing.
“By combining RealPage’s scale and the HomeWiseDocs platform with Rexera’s AI capabilities, we’re accelerating the transformation of real estate operations,” said Dana Jones, RealPage CEO and president. “Through this strategic acquisition, RealPage is leading the way in delivering innovative AI solutions to create meaningful value for our customers so they can focus on what matters most: serving their customers.”
The new platform is expected to reduce the time and complexity typically required in closing real estate deals — with improvements in processing speed, accuracy and service for professionals such as agents, escrow officers and lenders.
“RealPage and Rexera share a commitment to solving the real estate industry’s most persistent challenges through innovative and intelligent technology solutions,” said Vishrut Malhotra, Rexera co-founder and CEO. “By joining forces, we’re accelerating our ability to deliver transformative AI solutions that streamline operations, reduce friction and create measurable value for our customers.”
Rexera’s AI agents currently automate tasks including HOA resale document collection, municipal lien searches and mortgage payoff coordination.
The company says its technology supports more than 1% of all residential real estate transactions in the U.S. each month.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Earlier this month, RealPage announced its acquisition of Livble, a flexible rent payment provider.
