iReverse Expands, Welcomes Reverse Mortgage Veteran

iReverse Home Loans is welcoming a new national senior loan consultant to help expand its reach in San Diego County, the company recently announced.

Laura Strickler has 27 years of experience in the mortgage industry, and was previously affiliated with Bank of America and Wells Fargo.

Strickler has specialized in helping seniors navigate the reverse mortgage application process since 2003. Based out of the Valley Center branch, Strickler will service seniors throughout southern California. However, she is authorized to assist families nationwide.

iReverse Home Loans is a subsidiary of Hopkins Federal Savings Bank; its corporate office is in Owings Mills, Md.

“iReverse Home Loans has an existing presence in San Diego County and is expanding that footprint,” she tells RMD, adding that the Valley Center location is a new branch to help serve San Diego, Riverside and Imperial County seniors. “It is a privilege to help seniors gain the knowledge and answers they need to make informed decisions.”

iReverse Home Loans has seen an uptick in interest from experienced reverse mortgage professionals, which is helping to drive the company’s current expansion, says iReverse Home Loans President Kenneth Klawans.

“Our model has remained virtually unchanged since the day we opened back in 2009,” Klawans says. “We offer reverse mortgage professionals the ability to originate in most states nationwide while offering one of the highest compensation structure in the industry. We believe reverse mortgage professionals are seeking the stability we offer during a time the industry is seeing so many changes.”
