Addressing the gap in minority homeownership

Brena Nath
HW+ Managing Editor

Minority homeownership, which is the focus of this issue, has a lot of moving parts to it. Then, this month’s feature that starts on page 44 dives into the topic even more and investigates the role of the appraiser in housing discrimination, unpacking how the issue goes back decades before federal redlining.

Also in this issue, we welcome our inaugural list of 2021 Marketing Leaders. This foundational first group of honorees met all the ups and downs of 2021 head-on and created programs, strategies and campaigns that will create brand loyalty that lasts well beyond 2021.
