Homecomings Financial, LLC and Calyx Software said yesterday that the two companies have worked to enhance the integration of Assetwise Direct, Homecomings Financial’s automated loan evaluation system, with Calyx’s Point LOS platform to make it easier for brokers to do business with Homecomings Financial. The enhanced integration will increase brokers’ speed and efficiency in obtaining automated decisions and pricing from Homecomings Financial, the lender said. In discussing the integrated review process, Homecomings said Point users can now instantly upload loan files into its Assetwise Direct platform without having to save a file and then browse through a hard drive to find the file before importing. This saves the broker seven to eight separate clicks and the frustration of having to manage files outside of Point, the companies said. The enhanced integration also creates the opportunity to import more data from Point, potentially reducing the need for additional data entry by the broker.
“Homecomings Financial is excited to deliver this enhancement to our broker partners,” said Dan Bettenburg, executive vice president of Homecomings Financial. “This enhanced integration will simplify access to Assetwise Direct for our broker clients, making it faster than ever to get automated decisions and pricing from Homecomings Financial. This is another example of how Homecomings Financial works collaboratively with our brokers to deliver technology solutions that help them streamline their origination process. “The enhanced integration of these two industry-leading systems is the latest addition to Homecomings Financial’s full suite of technology tools designed to automate and simplify the broker’s loan origination process,” Bettenburg said. In addition to the Assetwise Direct automated loan evaluation system, the lenders’ suite of technology tools includes web-based document imaging, its Quickwise product and pricing tool, online pricing and locks, and Assetwise, which includes the utilization of AVMs in lieu of property appraisals for certain mortgage products and transactions.
