Irvine, California-based HighTechLending Inc. has recently expanded its wholesale reverse mortgage channel with the addition of National Reverse Wholesale Account Executive Kim Bixler.
Bixler, a veteran reverse account executive, will also service the new states HighTechLending has expanded into: New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
With 10 years of industry experience, Bixler has previously served as wholesale account executive at Financial Freedom, and has worked at RMS and AAG.
“What Kim brings to HighTechLending is invaluable,” says Reverse Division Vice President Joan Imelio. “We look forward to her further developing relationships and expanding our wholesale reverse production as we move into other Eastern states. Kim will be a great asset in helping with the Financial Assessment training and ensuring it to be a smooth process and transition for all brokers.”
Last year, the company announced its efforts to target growth in its wholesale reverse mortgage division, noting that it boosted its originations more than 150% in 2013 and expected to expand even further in 2014.
By the end of the year, HighTechLending, Inc. was ranked No. 9 in reverse mortgage volume, and has ranked among the top-10 lenders for several months.
