Bill King has been named the senior vice president of valuation solutions for Platinum Data Solutions. The former director of valuation services for Veros Real Estate Solutions will bring more than 30 years’ experience in the housing industry to the company.
The new hire is part of Platinum Data Solutions’ strategy to grow its customer base.
“The mortgage industry is in the midst of a major evolution right now. Risks have reached an all time high and lenders need sound, defendable business practices to close quality loans while keeping up with volume growth,” said Phil Huff, CEO of Platinum Data Solutions.

King has been a key force in the creation and wide-spread adoption of some of the industry’s most widely used valuation technologies. He also spent more than 20 years as a forensic expert in the valuation and housing segments, taught dozens of appraisal courses and functioned as a key member of the Appraisal Institute.
Before his time at Veros, King was founder, president and chief appraiser of ValueOne Appraisal, a Pacific Northwest appraisal company.
