FNF buyout talks launch LPS stock

This is one of those Holy Cow! moments.

Talk that title insurer Fidelity National Financial [stock FNF][/stock] and buyout firm Thomas H. Lee Partners are in advanced negotiations to acquire mortgage service provider Lender Processing Services [stock LPS][/stock] is leading to a surge in the former and especially in the latter stock value.
