Dallas-based Calyx Software, a provider of loan origination and processing software, said Tuesday that it had introduced the Point Software Development Kit, enabling customers to more directly interface with the well-known LOS platform offered by the company. The new SDK facilitates integration with a client’s internal applications or with third party vendors seeking compatibility with Calyx Point loan origination software, the company said. “We are extremely pleased to introduce Point SDK, Calyx’s newest offering that enables companies to integrate their current customer relationship management system, sales tools, lead generation software or any other back office systems with Calyx Point,” said Dennis Boggs, senior vice president of Calyx Software. “The Software Development Kit allows the transfer of data to and from Point and other business applications, streamlining company processes.” Point SDK serves as a two-way interface, providing the ability to read information from or write information into Point. It enables a company to develop applications that can access Point loan data from local folders or from Point Data Server, the company’s central system for managing distributed data between offices. Point SDK requires Calyx Point version 6.1 or later and a .NET 2.0 compatible development tool, the company said in a press statement. For more information, visit http://www.calyxsoftware.com.
