Reverse mortgage pricing and analytics company Baseline Reverse has announced the hiring of Kathryn Ferriman as its new vice president, with her focus centering on providing reverse mortgage valuation services, while bringing mortgage servicing right (MSR) valuation knowledge and experience. Her addition is a part of Baseline’s growth strategy, according to a press release announcing the hiring.
Ferriman joins Baseline from a previous role at Citizens Bank, N.A., where she served as home mortgage MSR valuation manager and was responsible for overseeing daily valuations for two servicing rights portfolios totaling $70 billion in assets. Prior to her time at Citizens, Ferriman valued portfolios and managed relationships with clients at Phoenix Analytic Services, Inc.
“Kathryn has extensive experience in the forward MSR analytics, valuation and data fields,” said Dan Ribler, CEO of Baseline in the press release. “She will be a great addition to the reverse MSR team and the broader SitusAMC family, as we continue creating and providing differentiated solutions to the industry.”
Ferriman related excitement in working with Baseline clients to grow both her new company, as well as client businesses.
“I’m thrilled to be joining Baseline and the larger SitusAMC family,” Ferriman says. “As the leader in reverse mortgage pricing, analytics, and technology solutions, Baseline’s offering is truly unmatched in the industry. I look forward to partnering with our clients to help them achieve their objectives and grow our respective businesses.”
Baseline Reverse was acquired by real estate consulting and technology firm SitusAMC in October 2019, with SitusAMC hoping to build upon its position in the analytics and valuation of MSR assets. The hiring of Ferriman will further add to that mission, according to SitusAMC Executive Managing Director Mike Morgan.
“With the acquisition of Baseline Reverse, SitusAMC became the leading provider of analytics and valuation services, as well as technology solutions, for the reverse mortgage industry,” Morgan said in the release. “We are excited to have Kathryn on the reverse MSR team as we continue to expand the depth and breadth of reverse MSR solutions for our clients.”
Ferriman assumed her new duties on January 8, reporting to Baseline CEO Dan Ribler.
