Clear Capital, a national fintech company and HousingWireTech100 award winner in both 2017 and 2018, recently announced it appointed Sheila Ryan to the position of chief people officer.
Clear Capital President Kevin Marshall said the company is thrilled to welcome Ryan to the team.
“She’s a leader who knows how to care for, and foster the growth of, our most valuable strength: our people,” Marshall said. “As we grow and continue to design innovative, more delightful ways to serve our customers, Sheila will ensure the strong values and convention-breaking culture we hold dear at Clear Capital remain deeply ingrained in our work.”
Ryan previously served as the vice president of global people and workplace at Glu Mobile, which is a mobile game developer. She also led human resources and culture efforts at multiple companies, including CBS Interactive, CNET Networks and Practice Fusion.
Ryan said she is elated to join a rapidly expanding company.
“Clear Capital is a true pioneer in the real estate technology industry, and it didn’t get to where it is today without a laser focus on hiring the best people,” Ryan said. “In 17 years, the company has grown from two to more than 500 people across the country, and I’m incredibly excited to be joining a team of innovators who have no plans of slowing down any time soon.”
The company also announced the addition of 116 new employees so far this year. Notably, 67 of the new hires are located in its Reno, Nevada, headquarters, showing that the company is making strides in its previously announced plans to double in size over the next five years.
