Valerie Ausband is the woman behind Arch MI’s Executive Women’s Conference, a development event that brings together female leaders from across the country. She serves as a strong advocate for women in the traditionally male-dominated world of financial services.
Ausband is the vice president of National Field Sales at Arch MI, and oversees the management and coordination of sales, customer relationships and business development for six regions and 70 salespeople nationwide.
Throughout her career, Ausband has navigated dynamic economic cycles and enormous regulatory change, bringing innovation to the mortgage, insurance and consumer housing industry. Her career has spanned various roles on sales teams of companies including Arch MI, UGC, Lawyer’s Title Company and HomeBanc Mortgage.
Ausband strives to foster a collaborative, nurturing work environment that champions diversity of thought and empowers employees to take the initiative. Ausband maintains an active focus on many aspects of the industry with her real estate license and participation in Kellogg Executive Education at the Kellogg School of Management. She is also a mentor supporter of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and Greenhouse Scholars.
