As senior vice president of operations, Claudia Mobilia manages all operations, plus 200 team members, for Embrace Home Loans, including processing, underwriting, closing and vendor management.
Mobilia has accrued more than 28 years of mortgage banking experience at Embrace Home Loans. She began in the closing department and quickly worked her way up the ranks. From closing she went into underwriting, then she managed a sales team for the company’s direct-to-consumer division, leading her team to several sales awards.
In 2017, under Mobilia’s leadership, the Rhode Island-based lender’s processing, underwriting and closing departments maintained an average customer service score of 98%. She helped craft Embrace’s approved-to-move program, on-time closing guarantee, assisted correspondent department and started the company’s renovation department.
Mobilia’s nominator wrote that she “embodies our core values of courage, innovation and achievement, and she leads with a caring heart and a can-do attitude. Claudia is pivotal to what everyone in sales calls our No. 1 strength: operational excellence.
