Rebecca Jensen is a member of the Realtors Political Action Committee Hall of Fame and president and CEO of Midwest Real Estate Data. Her claim to fame is her work to knit together the disparate multiple listing services and make the MLS Grid a reality. The MLS Grid is a multiple listing service industry initiative to streamline real estate data through unified standards.
Jensen has been in the industry for 20 years, making a name for herself as a gamechanger for the industry as she strives to find new and better ways of doing business.
Jensen sits on multiple industry boards, including the board of directors for the Council of Multiple Listing Services an MLS Grid initiative, where she is board chair, and the board of managers for the Broker Public Portal, an entity building the first national MLS consumer-facing listing portal. She serves on a number committees with National Association of Realtors, Realtor.com and Cove MLS Group.
Recently, she has been speaking at events and using her position of influence to promote the initiatives she is helping drive forward. At MRED, the real estate aggregator and distributor providing the Chicagoland MLS to over 45,000 subscribers, Jensen has helped implement a new predictive analytics tool that breaks down big data into actionable intelligence.
