2018 Women of Influence: Dawn Adams

Senior Vice President of Default Servicing at RoundPoint Mortgage Servicing

dawn

Dawn Adams, senior vice president of default servicing at RoundPoint Mortgage Servicing, is the woman behind the commission and implementation of new claim filing software, as well as two Consumer Financial Protection Bureau-ready initiatives addressing a foreclosure regulatory change involving successors in interest requirements and a bankruptcy requirement to send billing statements.

Adams joined RoundPoint in 2009 and managed the foreclosure and bankruptcy departments until late 2016 when she was promoted from vice president to senior vice president of default servicing.

She executes her role with a clear vision that is guided by three “E’s”: energy, ethics and execution. As a leader, her No. 1 role is to passionately guide and support those around her to achieve their goals. To that end, she makes sure that each of her staff members has a clear career path to reach their fullest potential within RoundPoint.

But Adams does not stop there. She also mentors her colleagues to help the navigate tough straits and take full advantage of career opportunities.

Outside of her role, Adams has a passion for assisting single mothers and children within the foster care system.
