Ben Mahan joins ARMCO as CTO

Tech industry vet will oversee ARMCO’s IT organization

ACES Risk Management, a financial quality control and compliance software provider — and HW Tech100 winner — has announced the addition of Ben Mahan as its chief technology officer.

Mahan, a tech industry veteran, will lead ARMCO’s IT organization. Mahan has more than 20 years of executive-level technology experience, including growing technology divisions for organizations in the e-learning, supply chain, healthcare and compliance industries.

“Technology is the backbone of ARMCO — our clients and partners rely on us to deliver secure, high-quality performance 24 hours a day,” said ARMCO CEO Avi Naider. “We’re pleased to have Ben on board to assure that we continue to maintain the secure, high-quality performance our clients and partners rely on as we expand our platform over the next 12 to 24 months and move forward in the company’s next high-growth year.”

Before joining ARMCO, Mahan was CTO for Sentry Data Systems, a SaaS provider in healthcare analytics, where he developed and oversaw technology operations throughout several high growth and expansion cycles. In his previous positions, Mahan oversaw complex operations that include technology migrations, product development, strategy development, talent sourcing and systems design and development.

“It’s great to work for an organization that strives for excellence, such as ARMCO,” Mahan said. “It’s a fantastic challenge to look for ways to elevate technology operations at a company where the bar is already set so high. I’m looking forward to what the entire team will accomplish together and to further supporting the technology agenda.”
