Plano, Texas-based Starkey Mortgage hired Cari McCue LaMere as executive vice president of national operations.
In her new role, she is directly responsible for the processing, closing and disclosure departments.
Prior to this role, LaMere worked at Guardian Mortgage, most recently as chief operating officer. She brings more than 20 years of experience in sales production, operations, servicing, compliance and secondary marketing.
When she was at Guardian Mortgage, LaMere was named a 2013 Women of Influence at HousingWire.
“Cari is an accomplished executive who brings a passion for the industry combined with a wealth of knowledge and diverse experiences in the mortgage business to Starkey,” said Jim Clapp, president and chief financial officer of Starkey Mortgage.
