Ditech Financial hired Robert Groody as its new senior vice president of consumer lending operations.
Groody is now responsible for overseeing consumer operations teams company-wide.
“Bob brings the insight, leadership presence and innovative thinking that will help Ditech continue to expand our consumer franchise,” said Steve Stein, Ditech senior vice president of mortgage originations.
Previously, Groody served as managing director of national operations at JPMorgan Chase where he led the growth of the company’s residential mortgage operations business including loan processing, underwriting and closing for retail, consumer direct, home equity and correspondent mortgage lending.
Before that he worked as chief operating officer and chief financial officer at GMAC Bank. He also held leadership positions at Discover Bank, PHH Mortgage and Deloitte.
