Iowa-based iEmergent, a forecasting and data analytics firm for the banking and mortgage lending industries, named Fenn Meents as its new chief growth officer.
As chief growth officer, which is a newly created position, Meents is responsible for driving product strategy and organic growth while expanding sales and marketing efforts.
Most recently, Meents worked at Primary Capital Mortgage, where he was responsible for leading strategic initiatives. In his position at the company, Fenn was introduced to the iEmergent forecasting tool Mortgage MarketSmart, where he used the forward-looking data to inform corporate level decision-making on strategic growth and resource allocations.
“I’m excited to take on this challenge,” said Meents. “I look forward to working with iEmergent as a team member to help them achieve the growth potential I saw from day one working with them as a client.”
Before his role at Primary Capital Mortgage, Meents worked with the mortgage banking division of Community & Southern Bank, and for eight years prior to that role, he was a top-producing loan officer at SunTrust Mortgage.
“I am delighted to announce that Fenn has joined iEmergent to lead our continued expansion into our core markets, as well as new markets that present opportunity,” said Laird Nossuli, CEO, iEmergent.
“It speaks volumes about the value of what we do that he made the move to work with us,” said Nossuli, “and the unique insight he’ll bring to our clients is invaluable.”
