First Guaranty Mortgage Corp., a residential mortgage lending services company, appointed Robert Eastep as its chief financial officer.

With 20 years of experience in the banking and mortgage industry, Eastep served as chief financial officer of Stonegate Mortgage Co. before joining First Guaranty. Prior to his time at Stonegate, he held senior executive positions at Union Mortgage Group, Central Virginia Bankshares Inc., and Saxon Capital Inc.
Eastep was also senior manager at KPMG in their financial services audit practice where he served as a member of its regulatory advisory practice for financial institutions.
