PHH Home Loans promotes Kevin McGarrity to Northeastern regional executive

Previously served as regional vice president

PHH Home Loans, a joint venture between PHH Mortgage (PHH) and Realogy Holdings Corp (RLGY), announced that the company promoted Kevin McGarrity into the role of regional executive for the Northeastern region.

McGarrity most recently served as regional vice president of PHH Home Loans for New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware and New York.

In his new role, McGarrity will be responsible for the production, profitability and overall performance for the Northeastern region, encompassing more than 100 loan officers in Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware, under the PHH Home Loans and Coldwell Banker Home Loans brands.

Those loan officers will service 215 of the approximately 790 real estate offices within NRT LLC, a subsidiary of Realogy and the nation's largest residential real estate brokerage company.

McGarrity brings more than 20 years of experience in the mortgage industry to his new position.

Prior to being named regional executive, McGarrity held various roles in sales and leadership, including manager of the agent help desk, director of teleservices, national director for the ERA franchise relationship and vice president for the NRT relationship.

"Kevin is respected by his peers and team for his knowledge, energy and leadership, making him the ideal person for this highly visible and critical position,” Ralph Melbourne, senior vice president of the PHH Mortgage Real Estate Channel, said.

“Under Kevin's management, I look forward to continued success for the PHH Home Loans and Coldwell Banker Home Loans brands in the region,” Melbourne added
