Before she was ever married to actor Brad Pitt, actress Angelina Jolie lived in a four-bedroom midcentury modern home in the rural enclave of Snedens Landing in Rockland County, New York with her family growing up. Per The Wall Street Journal:
According to property records, Ms. Jolie Pitt’s mother, Marcheline Bertrand, owned the house in the 1980s. Mr. Ellis, who specializes in Snedens Landing properties, said Ms. Jolie Pitt lived there as a child with her mother and brother, and attended elementary school in the area. “Everyone in the neighborhood always says that,” said real-estate agent Richard Ellis of Ellis Sotheby’s International Realty.
The article noted that the house was built in the 1950s and was purchased less than a year ago by conductor and house-flipper Eugene Kohn.
