Chicago-based Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage has acquired the assets of Chicago Apartment Finders, expanding Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage's real estate sales operations.
Currently, the company has 47 offices and approximately 3,500 independent sales associates. With the acquisition, Coldwell Banker is adding five offices and welcoming 120 independent sales associates into its workforce.
As part of the acquisition, the unit will now operate as Chicago Apartment Finders: Leasing Division of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage.
"This acquisition furthers our strategy to create opportunities that expand our market presence into the leasing arena and to better serve our clients in Chicagoland," said Fran Broude, president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Chicago.
The firm's former owner, Andrew Ahitow, will continue as a sales associate with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Chicago and will assist with the transition.
Andrew Croegaert and Katherine Paquette will retain their roles in running the Chicago Apartment Finders division.
