Want Zillow to pay your mortgage for a year?

This $25,000 could be yours

Zillow (Z) is giving away $25,000 to pay one lucky person’s mortgage for an entire year.

There are just a few days left in Zillow’s “Pay My Mortgage, Please” sweepstake until a potential winner is selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries.

Go here to enter your name in the drawing, which closes at and 9 a.m. PST on Aug. 31.

As an added bonus, the sweepstake guidelines reveal that participants are able to enter their name up to 10 times during the promotional period, which started on Aug. 4.

Here are the different ways to enter the drawing according to Zillow's guidelines:

  1. Each eligible person who fills out the fields provided on the landing page zillowmortgagesweepstakes.com with his/her valid email address, complete first and last name, street address (no P.O. box), city, state, Zip Code, and confirmation that he/she is at least 18 years old and has read these Official Rules, will automatically receive four entries to the promotion.
  2. Entrants who also download the Zillow Mortgage app will automatically receive an additional four entries. There is no cost to download the Zillow Mortgage app.
  3. Entrants who follow @Zillow on Twitter will receive an additional two entries.

Also, it is important to note that you don’t need to own a home to enter.

Zillow has made a lot of major moves in the industry this year to become a major player, most recently acquiring DotLoop, a Cincinnati-based company that boasts it can simplify real estate transactions by enabling brokerages, real estate agents, and their clients to share, edit, sign and store documents digitally.

And in an even bigger move, Zillow agreed to acquire Trulia for $3.5 billion in a stock-for-stock transaction in July.

While the two companies will remain separate entities, real estate agents will be able to advertise on both sites and gain access to combined tech efforts.

However, the point of this tracker is to show you evidence that lower rates have already changed housing data. So, let’s […]
