Primary Residential Mortgage, a residential mortgage lender, announced the promotion of Burton Embry, who will become the company’s new chief compliance officer.
In this role, Embry will continue to oversee and manage the company's enterprise risk management group and represent PRMI’s interests with industry and trade groups as well as provide significant consultative direction in the company’s day-to-day and long-range business activities.
Embry brings more than 30 years of experience in the mortgage industry, spending more than 25 years focusing on mortgage compliance and quality assurance matters.
Embry is currently the Chair of the Mortgage Bankers Association Regulatory Compliance subcommittee.
