WFG National Title Insurance Company elevated Roger Blauvelt to the position of senior vice president of the company’s national agency division.
Prior to his promotion, Blauvelt served as the company’s vice president, national agency underwriting counsel. In his new role, Blauvelt will be responsible for maintaining the company’s relationship with its largest national title agents as well as spearheading new growth, the company said in a release.
Prior to joining WFG National Title in 2011, Blauvelt served as counsel—special issues for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. Earlier in his career, Blauvelt spent 24 years with “one of the nation’s largest title underwriters,” spending his last seven years as senior vice president, Northeast and Southeast regional counsel, the company said.
“Roger came to WFG already recognized as one of the industry’s top underwriting counsel, and he has exceeded even our high expectations to become a powerful resource for our independent agents,” said Patrick Stone, president and CEO for Williston Financial Group, WFG National Title’s parent company. “Roger is a staunch advocate for his clients, and will only accelerate his group’s growth with his leadership and experience.”
Charles Cain, WFG National Title’s executive vice president who oversees the company’s National and Central agency regions, said that Blauvelt is the clear choice to lead the company’s national agency division.
“Roger is that rare person who combines strong business acumen with a deep legal knowledge that enables him to serve all of the needs of our national agents,” Cain said. “He has already established a strong bond with our national agents and is the obvious choice to lead that team to an even higher level.”
