Safeguard Properties, the mortgage field services provider, announced the promotion of Michael Greenbaum to the position of chief operating officer. Greenbaum, who joined Safeguard in 2010, previously served as vice president of operations.
As chief operating officer, Greenbaum will continue to support Safeguard’s clients and oversee the company’s vendor network. In addition, he will maintain responsibility for operational success, driving Safeguard’s internal operations processes and procedures to further increase efficiency, effectiveness and compliance, the company said in a release.
Prior to joining Safeguard, Greenbaum held senior management and executive positions with Erico, Accel, McMaster-Carr. Greenbaum also served in the U.S. Army, Ordinance Branch, specializing in supply chain management.
