24 more MLSs agree to send listing data to Zillow and Trulia

Zillow Group boosts listing network

With the real estate listing data provided by ListHub set to disappear from Zillow (Z) and Trulia in just over two weeks, the Zillow Group is continuing in its recruitment of multiple listing services to provide direct feeds to the sites to mitigate the loss of the ListHub data.

Last week, the Zillow Group broke new ground when it announced that Realogy (RLGY), Keller Williams and 18 MLSs, including the California Regional MLS, signed agreements with the Zillow Group to provide listing data to both Zillow and Trulia.

On Monday, the Zillow Group announced that it signed direct listing agreements with 24 more MLSs. Under the agreements, the 24 MLSs will establish direct feeds that will push listing data to both sites.

"With every partner that decides to send Zillow and Trulia a direct feed, it improves the overall accuracy as well as home shoppers' experience, resulting in more opportunities for agents to engage with home buyers and sellers," said Greg Schwartz, Zillow Group chief revenue officer.

"The security of a direct feed is the best way to ensure millions of home shoppers on Zillow and Trulia see the highest quality data,” Schwartz continued. “I'm thrilled to welcome our new partners, who see the value Zillow and Trulia bring to the table and are connecting their members with a growing population of home shoppers and sellers."

According to the Zillow Group, the newest providers of data to Zillow and Trulia are:

  • Beaches MLS – West Palm Beach, Florida
  • Central Missouri Board of Realtors – Marshall, Missouri
  • Central Virginia Regional MLS – Richmond, Virginia
  • Combined Los Angeles/Westside MLS – Los Angeles, California
  • Eastern Shore Association of Realtors – Accomac, Virginia
  • Franklin Board of Realtors – Franklin, North Carolina
  • Greater El Paso Association of Realtors Multiple Listing Service – El Paso, Texas
  • Hudson County MLS – Secaucus, New Jersey
  • Madison County Board of Realtors – Richmond, Kentucky
  • Mid American Regional Information Systems – St. Louis, Missouri
  • MLS of Naples – Naples, Florida
  • Modoc County Listing Service – Alturas, California
  • Monmouth County Association of Realtors – Tinton Falls, New Jersey
  • Olympic Listing Service – Sequim, Washington
  • Pensacola Association of Realtors – Pensacola, Florida
  • Ridgecrest Area Association of Realtors – Ridgecrest, California
  • Santa Fe Association of Realtors – Santa Fe, New Mexico
  • Savannah Board of Realtors – Savannah, Georgia
  • St. Joseph Regional Association of Realtors – St. Joseph, Missouri
  • Sullivan County Board of Realtors – Monticello, New York

  • Tucson Association of Realtors, MLS – Tucson, Arizona
  • Vail Board of Realtors – Edwards, Colorado

Annie Ives, the CEO of the Combined Los Angeles/Westside MLS said that establishing the listing agreement with the Zillow Group will help ensure its members’ data is accurate on both sites.

"The L.A. real estate market has always commanded a spotlight – the entire world looks at what is happening here," Annie Ives, CEO of Combined Los Angeles/Westside MLS said.

"Our first priority was guaranteeing our members' data was accurately represented, since home shoppers and buyers often have to make big and quick decisions,” Ives continued. “It only made sense to create a direct relationship with Zillow Group as it assures our members are represented on their listings and the data on the site matches what's in our database. Our membership is incredibly pleased we have a direct agreement in place."

An often misguided premise I see on social media is that lower mortgage rates are doing nothing for housing demand. That’s ok — very few people are looking at the data without an agenda. However, the point of this tracker is to show you evidence that lower rates have already changed housing data. So, let’s […]
