Trulia (TRLA) users will notice a new feature within the mobile version of their Trulia experience — the option to request an Uber, the app-based car service, to and from any property listed on Trulia.
Going forward, whenever a customer visits a property listing on Trulia’s mobile platform, the option to request an Uber to that listing will appear, right next to the button for “get directions.”
According to the companies, the Trulia-Uber integration is available in every city in the U.S. that Uber currently services.
“Trulia’s new collaboration with Uber is an example of how Trulia simplifies the search for your next home,” said Jonathan McNulty, head of consumer product at Trulia.
“Uber is an innovative company that’s now empowering our users to take the next step, from viewing homes online to touring in person.”
The companies say that the “game-changing” integration will help make the process of looking for a home even easier.
“If you’ve ever looked for a home, you’re all too familiar with how tedious it can be to visit multiple properties,” the companies said. “Without a real estate agent to guide you through new neighborhoods, it’s even more apparent when you have to navigate unfamiliar territory and suffer searching for parking in some of the most congested areas of town. All of this adds up to a poor consumer experience. Now with the help of Uber, touring homes is much easier.”
