KML Law Group adds John Goryl as senior counsel

Will represent firm’s clients in Central Pennsylvania

KML Law Group has added John Goryl has joined the firm as senior counsel. Goryl will work in the firm’s Harrisburg, Pennsylvania office and will represent the firm and its clients throughout Central Pennsylvania.

Specifically, Goryl will represent KML’s clients at hearings and Sheriff’s sales. Additionally, Goryl will serve as a liaison with housing advocates and counseling agencies in Pennsylvania, oversee the title curative department.

Goryl will also manage inquiries received from governmental units and be the firm’s resident expert on Pennsylvania’s Homeowners Emergency Mortgage Assistance Program.

Prior to joining KML, Goryl served the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as associate counsel for the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency. While at the PHFA, Goryl provided legal advice and expertise to PHFA on matters involving PHFA’s Single Family Mortgage Program and represented the Commonwealth regarding legal challenges to the HEMAP program before state agencies and Commonwealth Court.

While at the PHFA, Goryl played an important role in drafting Pennsylvania’s HEMAP regulations.

The Senate of Pennsylvania recently honored Goryl upon his retirement after 26 years of distinguished service with PHFA.
