Windermere Real Estate joins RealtyTracÕ broker network

Company represents more than 40% of all real estate sales in Seattle

Seattle-based Windermere Real Estate, which is the largest regional real estate company in the Western United States,has become the latest member of RealtyTrac’s broker network, RealtyTrac Network.

Founded in Seattle in 1972 with one office and eight agents, Windermere Real Estate has since grown exponentially. The company currently has 300 offices with 7,000 agents throughout the Western U.S. and represents more than 40% of all real estate sales in the Seattle area.

“The addition of Windermere Real Estate to the RealtyTrac Network furthers our mission of aligning with top brokerages in the nation to leverage RealtyTrac’s many resources and further establish them as highly credible, sought after authorities on the housing market,” said Jamie Moyle, CEO of RealtyTrac. 

“We look forward to providing Windermere with robust real estate data and analytics, increased media reach and a broker-centric, business relationship that cannot be matched.”

As a member of the RealtyTrac Network, Windermere receive access to RealtyTrac’s “unparalleled” data sets also gain increased brand exposure through site-wide branding on RealtyTrac.com as well as prominent brand placement on RealtyTrac’s subsidiary, Homefacts.com, RealtyTrac said in a release.

As part of the partnership, Windermere’s president, OB Jacobi, will contribute insight into RealtyTrac’s housing and real estate reports that are distributed on a national and local level.

“As one of the nation’s most respected sources of housing information, we have great respect for RealtyTrac,” Jacobi said. “We are excited to partner with them on this branding and business development venture.”
