FormFree Holdings, a provider of next-generation verification technology for the mortgage industry, has appointed John Sheppard as the company’s president and chief operating officer.
Sheppard has been tasked with overseeing both the growth of the company and the growth of AccountChek, which verifies a borrower’s ability to pay back loans. AccountChek was a category winner in HousingWire Magazine’s 2014 HW TECH100 for unique solution.
Sheppard brings more than 25 years of senior leadership experience in the consumer goods and technology industries. Earlier in his career, Sheppard was president of several of Coca-Cola’s largest international divisions and vice president of Coca-Cola International.
More recently, Sheppard was CEO of EveryWare Global, a consumer goods firm that went public in 2013. He has also served as CEO and president of Cott Corp., a beverage company, and as an operating partner of Advent International, a multi-billion dollar global private equity firm.
“We are thrilled to bring on a leader of John’s caliber, as his skills and experience leading organizations during periods of high growth and expansion are unparalleled,” said Brent Chandler, founder and CEO of FormFree.
“In particular, John’s experience scaling businesses, raising capital and integrating new business lines will be of enormous benefit to us,” Chandler noted. “We look forward to John leading our company as we enter an exciting new phase of growth and increasing market adoption of AccountChek.”
Sheppard added, “I am excited and honored to be working with Brent and the entire FormFree team as we capitalize on our unique and patented solutions. I look forward to helping to lead this company as we expand our market leadership position."
