Stonegate Mortgage Corporation (SGM) has added Lisa Rogers to the newly created position of executive vice president for third party origination. Rogers has been tasked with leading a consolidated TPO strategic business unit, which will include wholesale and correspondent channels.
Stonegate says that Rogers’ appointment as EVP, “is part of a series of organizational changes that will enhance the company's focus on its wholesale and correspondent clients and on developing its diligence and risk platform into industry-leading technology that can be leveraged by all origination channels and secondary market investors.”
Rogers brings more than 20 years of experience in building and leading mortgage banking teams to Stonegate.
“With decades of experience and participation in important mortgage industry organizations, Lisa has relationships, insight and perspective that will make her an outstanding leader of the TPO team,” Jim Cutillo, Stonegate’s founder and CEO said. “She will be to right voice at the right time to help drive Stonegate's points of distinction — technology, speed and service – and underscore the full range of loan products that we are providing to wholesale and correspondent lenders."
Rogers joins Stonegate from Nationstar, where she served as EVP, national production manager. Earlier in her career, Rogers was a senior vice president of Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, where she led the national wholesale operations, including operational risk, regulatory compliance, customer service and financial performance.
Rogers is also a member of the Fannie Mae Customer Advisory Board and the Executive Committee of the Housing Policy Council.
“It is exciting to join Stonegate as they are leading the transformation of the mortgage industry," said Rogers. "Their strategy and execution are among the best in the industry, and I look forward to being a part of the team."
