First Guaranty Mortgage Corp., a Virginia-based residential lender, has added Marla Grassgreen as director-USDA program manager. Grassgreen brings more than 25 years of mortgage industry experience with an emphasis in the USDA’s Rural Housing Program to FGMC.
“FGMC has been USDA approved since 1996,” said Andrew Peters, FGMC’s CEO. “One of our strategic initiatives is to provide our TPO’s with a dedicated resource that possesses exceptional USDA program sales and training skills to further educate, develop and nurture loan originators, processors and underwriters. Marla brings FGMC her years of direct experience in the USDA arena, making her a value-add both internally and externally.”
Prior to joining FGMC, Grassgreen’s professional career includes director – rural housing division manager with PMAC Lending; rural development underwriter of TPO with Chase Rural Housing; vice president of operations for Service First Mortgage; and account executive for real estate finance with Chase Home Finance.
