Mortgage insurer Radian (RDN) noted Tuesday that delinquencies on loans it insures fell slightly to 65,239 last month, down from 65,427 in August. The company elaborated on the drop in a press release:
Included in the decline are 5,073 new delinquencies, which was balanced by 3,999 cures and 1,355 paids. Additionally, $3.83 billion was written in primary new mortgage insurance in September.
