The lending and servicing industries continue to face streams of new regulations, rules and suggested compliance procedures every month. But assessing a firm’s regulatory and litigation risk is always a challenge with many of these rules considered a moving target.
To address these issues, the American Conference Institute is presenting its annual Residential Mortgage Litigation & Regulatory Enforcement program in Dallas, Texas, this week.
The sessions, which kicked off Thursday, run through Friday, offering information from top attorneys in the space. In-house counsel from Wells Fargo (WFC), Homeward Residential, Flagstar Bank, PrimeLending, Fay Financial/Fay Servicing and the Texas Mortgage Bankers Association are among the many presenters. HousingWire will be attending the conference to offer readers coverage of the event on Friday.
Areas of coverage run the gamut, from CFPB regulations and enforcement to dealing with foreclosure litigation and new servicing guidelines.
